Tomorrow is my father's birthday. We sent him a package of goodies and a present. He's holding out and opening them all tomorrow!
I'm proudly posting some photos of his current work in progress. Remember the rocking horse he made for my firstborn when he was just a baby? He's thinking of making one but conceptually different, and these photos show the prototype--from sketches, to canvas and to a 3-dimensional model.
I could only dream to be half as creative and prolific as my father is. My brother is perhaps past that halfway mark (Ok, ok, I'll give that to him :)), being a gifted sculptor-all around artist himself.
In advance, just to prove that I'm thinking about him already, this post is the birthday greeting shout from the Nest: Happy Birthday, Popsi! We love you and wish we could be there.
